What this site collects, what it does not, and what we do with it. health.qlubapp.com is operated by Yeoman Ventures LLC, a California limited liability company, which is the controller responsible for the personal data described here. The short version: this property sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and stores one thing in your browser — the location you chose to search in.
A directory, not a medical service
The QLUB Health Hub is a directory, not a medical service. Nothing here is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and a listing is not a referral, an endorsement or a recommendation. Always speak to a qualified professional about your own care. If this is an emergency, call your local emergency number.
We are not your healthcare provider and we hold no medical records about you. Searching here creates no relationship with anyone listed.
What we store in your browser
This site sets no cookies at all. It uses one entry in your browser’s local storage: the location you chose to search in, along with your radius and whether to include online-only providers. It stays on your device, is never sent to us as a profile, and exists only so the site does not ask you where you are on every visit.
If you decline storage in the banner, that preference is not written at all — the site works exactly the same, it just asks each time. We also store your banner choice itself, so we can stop asking.
There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel, and no third-party script of any kind on this site.
What we do collect
When you search, your browser asks our API for providers near a point. If you used “Use my location”, that point comes from your device and is used to run the query — we do not store it against you. Our servers keep ordinary technical logs (IP address, time, the path requested) for security and troubleshooting.
If you suggest a correction, we keep what you suggested, the relationship you selected, your email address if you gave one, and the IP the submission came from — so a provider can decide, and so we can deal with abuse. Your identity is never shown to the provider.
If you are a provider listed here
Listings are public by design — that is the point of a directory. They contain professional information: name, the type of care you offer, a practice address, contact details you have published or given us, languages, and any attributes you chose to add.
Where a listing came from a public LGBTQ+ healthcare directory, we say so on the listing itself and it carries no affirming badge until you confirm it.
Some fields are self-declared and sensitive — gender identity, sexual orientation, race or ethnicity. They are entirely optional, never inferred by us, and published only if you enter them yourself and consent to the listing going live.
When you activate a listing we record the exact consent wording you were shown, the time, and the IP address — that is the evidence that you agreed, and it is not used for anything else.
You can correct or remove your listing at any time from the email address on it. Removal is permanent; we retain a minimal record that you asked, purely so a later import cannot put you back.
We email providers about their own listing: an invitation to confirm it, the sign-in links you request, and notice when someone suggests a change. Every message has a working unsubscribe, and unsubscribing is honoured for good.
Unsubscribing stops the email; it does not remove your listing. Those are separate choices and we will never treat one as the other.
Who else sees it
Published listings appear on this site and in the QLUB mobile app. Photos are stored with Cloudflare and images are checked by an automated safety service before they are shown. Email is sent through our mail provider. We do not sell data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Listings link to websites, phone numbers and services we do not run and cannot control. We take no responsibility for third-party sites, their content, their accuracy, their privacy practices, or anything that happens between you and a provider you find here.
Your choices
You can decline browser storage, withdraw that later, ask what we hold about a listing, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be removed. Write to contentmanager@qlubapp.com.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights over your personal data, including access, correction, deletion and objection. We will honour those requests.
